For approximately two decades, I have maintained a detailed and carefully curated sound archive dedicated to documenting my dream life. The video develops from an audio track composed of a selection of fragments from these recordings, which I make every morning immediately upon waking, while I am still in a state between sleep and wakefulness. These tracks overlap to generate a layered narrative that is sometimes confused, sometimes surprisingly revealing. The visual component accompanies these dream narratives through a sequence of moving, aberrant, abstract, and psychedelic images that evoke the activity of the psyche during dreaming, giving form to a fluid and unstable mental space. Among the recurring elements that emerge most prominently in these narratives is my bedroom in Avezzano, where I was born. For reasons I cannot explain, it is from this room that all my dreams have taken shape and unfolded every night since I moved to Switzerland.
