The human being has always been torn between two contradictory drives: the desire for adventure, to get outside the water box, lose control and to be overwhelmed by passions; and the call for a home, stability and security, to build something that was predetermined and creating a bond. The floor is the foundation on which we layer the everyday life of our being in the world. The base on which that house that shelters and protects us is built on, where we feel safe and protected. Our experience is a layered accumulation of events that we stack each day, like a ritual, and from which our routine of illusory certainties arises. The same is true for the fabrics we wear in layers and for the blankets in which we wrap ourselves. These too symbolise protection, a home and security, tradition and intimacy. In contrast with a series of works created without a pre-established and calculated narrative. A score of anthropomorphic bodies that unfold on paper: images that emerge from the subconscious, flashbacks of intimate primordial drives, interpenetration between female orifices and virile shapes.}

L’uomo è sempre stato combattuto tra due pulsioni contraddittorie: il desiderio di avventura, di infrangere gli schemi, di perdere il controllo e lasciarsi travolgere dalle passioni; e il richiamo alla casa, alla stabilità e sicurezza, a edificare qualcosa di prestabilito e legarsi. Il pavimento è la base su cui si stratifica la quotidianità del nostro stare al mondo. È su cui si edifica la casa che ci protegge e ci tutela, in cui noi ci sentiamo al sicuro e al riparo. Il nostro vissuto è un accumulo di cose a strati che accatastiamo come un rituale ogni giorno e da cui scaturisce la nostra routine di illusorie certezze. Lo stesso vale per i tessuti che a strati portiamo addosso, e per le coperte che ci avvolgono, anch’esse simbolo di protezione, casa, sicurezze, tradizioni e intimità. In contrapposizione una serie di opere realizzate senza una narrazione prestabilita e calcolata. Una partitura di corpi antropomorfi che si dispiegano sulla carta: immagini che emergono dall’inconscio, flashback di intime pulsioni primordiali, compenetrazione tra aperture femminili e forme virili.}
